Dave's Vision
David Ketchum and his wife Sue began to acquire a love for missions and people in the developing world while on their first mission trip to Africa in 1984.During the years when David was owner and manager of several small businesses, he spent time overseas involved with mission ministries. After seeing the needs and hearing the desires of the people, David committed to developing and establishing a faith-based economic development organization that provides start-up capital and mentoring for Business as Mission initiatives. Mission Resource was launched in April 2003.
As Mission Resource enters a new phase of organizational growth and capacity building more volunteers are sharing their resources of their gifts and talents to work in the office, serve on committees, and share the vision as members of the Speakers’ Bureau.
