MRI Philosophy
Mission Resource International exists to provide entrepreneurial opportunities to qualified individuals in developing countries.
- In the past, philanthropists and mission support or aid has “given a man a fish” for those in need - again, again, and again, with little or no dignity or resourcefulness left behind.
- Today, the economic development strategy of Business as Mission mandates we teach those in need how to provide for their future by supplying the initial capital, basic business training, and mentoring required to begin or expand a business.
- By encouraging the new entrepreneurs to use biblical business principles they will impact their communities not only economically, but spiritually, socially, and environmentally.
- This new mission strategy enables and empowers others to “fish for a lifetime, afford equipment, employ neighbors, and contribute to the needs of the community.”

Everyone deserves a chance to provide the basic necessities for his/her family, to become a productive member of a local village/city, and to develop his/her dreams and abilities. Along with our passion to serve, MRI makes a significant difference in the lives of families, in the marketplace or communities, and in developing countries.
