In 2013, Mission Resource started a revolving fund in Yala, Kenya.  Pastor Peter Mulwale preaches at Hope Church in the Yala community just north of Kisumu and oversees the revolving fund.  A total of 27 members have received a loan through the fund and a total of $13,000 has been given to the fund since its beginning. Businesses include a poultry farm, pig farm, motorcycle taxi driver, fish mongers, retail sales, food stands, traders, timber dealer and scrap metal dealer as well as selling plastic ware and even selling fried potato chips.
